For sale here –> http://www.etsy.com/listing/67348023/ceramic-fish In order to try new textures and play with casting plaster and ‘push mold’ and ‘slip cast’ techniques i decided to make some bigger ‘test tiles’… Using a large mouth bass as the model. This way i could see how the textures worked against recognizable details like eyes, mouth, gills etc. The ultimate idea is to cast body parts as sculpture with different textures. Here are the results which i mounted and plan to sell to buy more ‘stuff’ for the next project. Hope you like!
